Carom biscuits

Ingredient

1. Wheat flour           1 cup
2. All-purpose flour   1 cup
3. Butter                    1 tbs.
4. Salt                        1⁄2 tsp
5. Sugar                    1 tsp
6. Carom seeds        2 tsp
7. Oil                         6 tbs

Method

1. Add all ingredient except oil water & salt to wheat flour- all-purposes flour
and mix. Knead it till it becomes pliable dough. Keep covered
2. Make the kneaded dough into small balls
3. Press each ball into a round shape (make sure they are not too thick)
4. Cut all the flattened dough into 1” squares
5. Add oil to pan once hot enough add the squares and fry them till they are
golden brown
6. Crunchy Carom biscuits are ready
p.s they are good for kids and aid digestion

Sabudana Kichedi

Ingredients

     1.     Sabudana              1 cup
     2 .    Carrot pieces         ½ cup
     3.     Onion  pieces         ½ cup
     4.     Tomato   pieces     ½  cup
     5.     Salt                         1 tsp (adjusted to taste)
     6.     Milk                         ½ cup               
     7.     Cumin seeds          ½ tsp
     8.     Mustard seeds        ½  tsp
     9.     Urad dal                  ½ tsp
   10.     Curry leaves           1 bunch
   11.     Oil                           1 tbs
   12.     Ginger pieces         1 tsp
   13.     Green chilies          4 (pieces)
   14.      ghee                      1 tsp

Method
    1       Soak Sabudana in water for 2 hours and  drain water   
    2       Add oil to pan once hot enough add cumin and mustard seeds
    3       After they sputter add urad dal, Curry leaves and green chillies and fry them
    4       Add onion to same pan and fry until they are translucent
    5       Add tomato  pieces stir until pieces are cooked properly
    6       Add  drained sabudana stir it for five minutes 
    7       Add  salt and milk to same pan stir it for few minutes
    8       Switch off the stove then add ghee and garnish.

Tomato Peanut Dip

Ingredients

    1.     Tomato  Pieces             ½  Cup
    2      Fried Peanuts powder   ¼ cup
    3.     Onion pieces                 ½  cup
    4.     salt                                1   tsp (adjust to taste)
    5.     Green chilies                  4   ( pieces)
    6.     Ginger paste                  ½   tsp
    7.     Garlic cloves                  2
    8.     sugar                              ½ tsp
    9.     Oil                                 2 Tbs 
   10.   Cumin seeds                   ½ tsp
   11.   Coriander leaves             ½ cup
   12.     lemon juice                     1 tsp
   13.     turmeric powder             ½ tsp

Method

    1       Add oil to pan once it is hot enough add cumin seeds  and let them sputter
    2     Add onion pieces to pan stir it until onion pieces are fried
    3       Add green chilly and tomato pieces to pan and cook until mushy
    4       Add salt, ginger paste and garlic paste and turmeric powder stir after few minutes switch off the stove
    5       Blend all cooked ingredient , sugar and coriander leave and peanut powder to a paste
    6       Add lemon juice per taste

7       Yummy protein filled dip is ready

Spinach Juice

Ingredients

   1   Spinach leaves        1 Cup (cooked)
   2     Banana                   1 small
   3   sugar                         2 tsp
   4   Honey                       1 tsp
   5   Ginger paste           ½ tsp
   6   Lemon  juice            1 tsp
   7   Milk                           1 cup
   8   Fried Almond           1 tbsp. (small pieces)

Method

1.         1   Add milk Spinach leaves, banana pieces ,sugar and Ginger paste  to the blender and                blend it to a juice
2   Add Honey and lemon juice to the same blender and blend for a few minutes
3               Garnish with almond pieces in a glass Delicious juice is ready to drink

Potato kebab


Ingredient

1.     Potato                           4 medium size
2.     Green chilly                   4  small pieces
3.     Bread                            6 slices
4.     Garam masala               1 tsp
5.     Mint  leaves                   ½ cup (cut small pieces)
6.     Coriander leaves          ½ cup
7.     Turmeric  powder          ½ tsp
8      Coriander powder         ½ tsp
9.     Salt                                  1 tsp (adjusted to taste)
10.   All purposes flour           2 tbsp.
11.   Oil                                    ½ cup
12.   cumin   powder              ½ tsp

Method

1         Cook potatoes with skin, remove the skin and mash them into a paste.
2         Soak bread pieces in water and press water out and add them to the mashed potatoes.
3         Add mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chilly pieces, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, all purposes flour and garam masala to potato -bread paste then mix it without any lumps.
4         Make the paste into small patties and fry them in oil till they brown
5         Potato kebab is ready -serve it with sauce.

Banana Strawberry Juice

               
     Ingredients

    1. Banana                        One Medium
    2. Strawberry                   6
    3.  Milk                             1 cup
    4. Sugar                           1 tsp
    5. Honey                          1 tsp
    6. Fried almond pieces   1 tbs

Method

         Add banana and strawberry  to a blender and blend into a smooth paste
2         Add milk, sugar  and honey to the same and blend for  a few minutes
3         Pour the juice into a glass and garnish with almond pieces

Vegetable Balls


Ingredient


1.  spinach leaves    1/2  cup
2.  Green beans       1/4 (pieces)
3.  Capsicum            ¼ cup (pieces)
4.  Pieces                 ¼ cup
5.  Onions                ½ cup (pieces)
6.  Green onions      ¼ cup (pieces)
7.  Coriander leaves    ¼ cup
8.  Garlic paste            1 tsp
9.  Ginger   paste        ½ tsp
10.Salt                        1 tsp
11.Cumin powder       ½ tsp
12.Butter                     2 tbs
13.All-purpose flour    3 tbs
14.Green chilies         4 (pieces)
15.Almond powder     2 tbs(roosted)
16.Oil                         1 tbs
17.Sugar                    1 tsp
18.Milk                       2 tbs

Method

1.      Add oil to pan once it hot enough add onion to pan stir until onions are turn a little brown
2.      Then add all vegetables pieces and green chilies pieces to pan 
3.      Stir until all veg  are cooked, add salt, garlic paste, ginger paste mix it properly after 3 minutes   add coriander leaves, cumin powder to pan mix it after 5 minutes turn off stove
4.      Mash the vegetables and add Almond powder, all-purpose flour, milk and sugar mix it and make into small balls.
5.      Add butter to pan once it is hot enough add veg balls one by one until they brown
6.      Serve hot with chili Sauce

Fruit salad


Ingredient

1.       Milk                           2 cups
2.       Sugar                        1 cup (adjust to taste)
3.       Custard  powder     4 tbsp.
4.       Cashew  nut              10 (pieces)
5.       Almond powder          1 tsp
6.       Cardamom                 ½ tsp
7.       Apple small                1 (small pieces)
8.       Grapes                        ½ cup
9.       Banana                        1 (small pieces)

Method

1.       Add milk to pan once it starts to boil add custard powder and stir.
2.       When the milk is reduced to half the amount add sugar, almond powder, cashew nuts to pan stir properly.
3.       If the liquid is too thick add some water, Cardamom Powder and switch off the stove.
4.       Add the fruits, Let chill and enjoy the yummy dish

p.s. I mix the custard powder with little water and make it into a smooth liquid before adding to avoid lumps.

Potato Casseroles


Ingredient

1.        Potatoes                3 round slices)
2.        Bread Crumbs       5 slices(toasted)
3.       Garlic   powder       ½ tsp
4.       Salt                         ½ tsp
5.       Red chilli powder    ½ tsp
6.       Almond powder       1 tsp

Method

1.       Cook Potatoes in a pan (Microwave will be fine too)
2.       Once the potatoes are cooked drain all the water and place them carefully on a paper towel
3.       Mix bread Crumbs, salt, garlic powder, red chili powder and almond powder
4.       Add potatoes to the powder; make sure all pieces are evenly coated.
5.       Add oil to pan roast the potato pieces until they turn brown.

Sweet Potato Desert



Ingredient

1. Cooked Sweet potato   one cup (round pieces)
2. Sugar                                ½  cup
3.   Milk                                   3 cups
4.   Ghee                                1 tbs.
5.   Almond  Powder           2 tbs (fried one)
6.   Dry grapes                      10
7.   Cardamom                      ½ tsp.

Method
1.  Add milk to pan once it is boiled
2.  In the same pan add  cooked sweet potato Pieces to pan mix it properly
3.   Add sugar to pan mix it properly after  one minute
4.   Add Almond powder , dry grapes, Cardamom and Ghee
5.   After 2 minutes switch off the stove
6.   Desert is ready to serve

Guava juice


Ingredient
1  Guava    3  (small size)
2  Sugar     3  tsp
3  Milk       ½  cup
4  Fried  Almond  1 tbs   (small pieces)
5 Honey    1 tbs

Method
1.   Add  guava pieces to a mixer and grind it like paste
2.   Add sugar ,almond pieces  and honey  to  same  mixer and  grind it to a smooth liquid then add little ice tube to juice
healthy and delicious guava juice  ready  



Mango Lassi


Ingredient


1.   Mango juice         1 cup
2.   Yogurt                   1 cup
3.   Sugar                    4 tsp
4.   Almond powder 2 Tbs


Method


1.   Add  Mango  juice ,Yogurt ,sugar  and almond powder  to  a mixer and  grind it to a smooth liquid then add   little ice tubes
2.   Cool cool Mango lassi  is ready children like this Lassi

1.   Spinach leaves          1 cup
2 .  Onion pieces             1 cup
3.   Cumin powder           1  tsp
4.   Coriander powder      1 tsp
5.   Garlic cloves              4    
6.   Ginger                        2 inches
7.   Tomato                      1  
8.   Cinnamon piece        1/2 inch
9.   Anise                         2 pieces
10.   Pannier                    ½ cup
11.   Green chillies           3
12.   Sugar                       1 tsp
13.   Salt                           1  tsp
14.   Oil                             1 tsp
15.   Cashew nuts            4
16.   Lemon juice             1 tsp
17.   Water                       2 Cups

Method

 1.   Dry roast and ground Cinnamon, anise and cashews to a nice powder
2.   Add onion, green chillies and ginger to grinder and grind them into   smooth paste
3.   Boil 1 cup of water and add tomatoes and cook till they are tender
4.   Remove the skin from the tomato and smash it into a nice paste
5.   Add oil to pan, once hot enough add onion, green chillies and ginger paste   and fry them till they emanate a nice aroma-be sure not to burn it
6.   Add spinach paste, tomato paste and 1 cup water   mix it properly after 2 minutes add salt and roasted ground masala mix, cumin powder  and coriander powder
7.   Add sugar and paneer pieces to pan mix it properly after 3 minutes, add lemon juice to pan and mix it.
8.   Yummy tasty Palak paneer is ready
9.   P.S You can add heavy cream to the finished product to make it more appealing and tasty
