Puffed Rice Upma (Uggani):
Ingrediant:
1 Puffed Rice (Murmura) 250 gms
2 Onions 1 big
3 Buna Chana powder ½ cup
4 Green Chilies 10 cut into pieces (Adjust to taste
5 Salt 1 TBS (Adjust to taste)
6 Coconut ¼ cup
(I Used Frozen )
7 Urad dal 1/4 TSP
8 Turmeric powder ¼ TSP
9 Curry leaves 1 Bunch
10 Mustard seeds ¼ TSP
11 Cumin seeds 1 TSP
12 Oil 3 TBS

Method:

Soak puffed rice in water for 5
minutes

Drain water from puffed rice
and put in a separate bowl

Add oil to a pan, once the oil
is hot enough add Urad dal ,Green chili
pieces, Curry leaves, Mustard seeds, Turmeric Powder, Cumin Seeds and Ginger pieces

After they fry add coconut,
puffed rice and salt

Mix Buna chana powder.

Spicy uggani is ready to eat
